Retreat into the enchanting Maine forest in this 120 sq ft off-grid cottage featuring a wall of windows overlooking a brook and aspen grove. Experience complete serenity as you open the windows and listen to the wind softly whispering through the trees. Catch the sunlight filtering through the canopy. Depending on the time of year, you might also hear the babbling of a seasonal brook, or taste the tangy sweetness of the wild blackberry, perhaps even witness the stunning colors of Autumn in New England. Come and experience the interconnectivity. Feel Gaia’s heartbeat. Surrender into each other as you step into the next chapter of your life together.

Please Note: This cottage is completely off-grid. You are meant to experience nature. This includes bugs (I.e. black flies, deer flies, mosquitoes, ticks. etc) so it’s best to pack bug spray. We also supply a Thermocell for you to use that helps to keep the mosquitoes and flies at bay. While there is no running water, we supply potable water for drinking, cooking, and washing and there is a sink that drains.

    Cocoon Cottage is a short 5-6 minute walk from where you will park your car, but feels a world away in the middle of the forest.
